A powerful space
An undisturbed area with traces of life
Swallowed by imaginary waves of flux, movement, happiness, illusion...

Final Dance to Solitude is a movement constructionin public space, an attempt to raise life, flow andpower from a place surrounded by the architecture of an industrial city. Emptiness, cold and straight lines are questioned through the movement and the presence of human bodies that struggle to not be absorbed by an individualistic society. How alone are we actually? How empty can we be? Solitude works as a mirror between inside and outsidereflecting the possibility of a new relationshipbetween body and public space.

Vitoria Aquino

Vitória Aquino (BR/NL) is a dancer and actress with a bachelor in Theatre. Interested in movement studies and body dramaturgy, she was member of Theatre companies in Brazil (Estupida Cia and Klauss Vianna Movement Research Group) and attended many workshops from local to international levels of contemporary dance, physical theatre, improvisation, and so on. In the Netherlands she applies her movement studies and curiosity to public spaces and recently was part of a participatory art project in partnership with Tante Netty and other PPS peers in Eindhoven. She aims to keep sharing knowledge and experiences with artists and communities and hopes for newcollaborations and partnerships in the artistic field.
