Class 2017/18

In the Simulation Experience personally selected visitors get the chance to test new analog Virtual Reality Glasses: The Simulatron 7d. A voice through headphones guides you step by step through this Simulated reality that can best be described as an auditive augmented reality. The visitor follows all the steps given by the voice, until at a certain point you might question the reliability of this voice you have never even met before. In this immersive experiment you are the leading character. Can you handle this responsibility?

Hedwig van Leuven

I studied music-theatre at the Fontys Academy of Music and Performing Arts. In my combined music-theatre–PPS Master I have been looking for innovative ways to bring theatre to festivals,
in which the bounderies between performer and audience fade. I have been working as the acts- coordinator at cooperative festival Familiar Forest, where I got inspired to interleave the acts with the environment as much as possible. Why buy a ticket, stand in line, sit in a theatre, where you are supposed to sit and stay silent for the entire performance, when you can also be surprised, for example at a festival, on the dancefloor, withan invitation to an unforgettable experience? At a festival you are supposed to get lost and be surprised; I like to provide in that with disorienting travels to the unknown.
